In a major boost for Abu Dhabi’s startup ecosystem, Hub71 has entered into a strategic partnership with Google to bring the tech giant’s ‘Google for Startups’ program to the UAE. This collaboration will provide Hub71 startups with essential resources, mentorship, and growth opportunities, further establishing Abu Dhabi as a key player in the global startup scene.
The partnership will kick off in 2025 with an accelerator program designed to refine business models and foster scalable growth strategies. Google will select 25 high-potential startups to participate in the three-month program to refine their business models and develop scalable growth strategies.

One of the main key features of this collaboration is the access to Google Cloud credits. Top-performing startups will receive up to $300,000 in credits, helping them scale their infrastructure in a digital-first economy.
Startups will also tap into Google’s global mentor network, which consists of industry leaders and entrepreneurs who will provide tailored guidance on scaling operations and navigating challenges.
Additionally, the partnership fosters knowledge exchange on emerging trends such as Web3, AI, and sustainability, equipping entrepreneurs with insights that support sustainable growth.
Hub71’s growing impact on Abu Dhabi’s tech landscape
Since its launch, Hub71 has made significant strides in establishing Abu Dhabi as a global tech hub. Startups within the ecosystem have raised over $1.9 billion in funding, generating more than $1.08 billion in revenue.
Hub71’s CEO Ahmed Ali Alwan noted that these startups have created over 1,100 jobs and generated USD 1 billion (AED 3.5 billion) in revenue in five years. Hub71 has recently hosted over 300 startups from around the world and is supported by 150 strategic partnerships.
